Great work, you have captured a rarely seen side of gothic architecture which maybe even closer to the actual experience of being there (cause of human scale).

Thanks for the compliment - the greatest hope is that these images will make the viewer feel some sense of what it is to be in these amazing spaces..

They certainly make me feel some of it, obviously to a certain point but they still have value as image of their own merit.

What brilliant architecture...the guys who designed this were visionary and the stonemasons...wow...and the photographer has showcased all their work so perfectly, as per usual!

The whole issue with architectural photography is the challenge of translating a 3d space into a 2d image...hard to do but not impossible...hopefully this show will accomplish that goal.

SO waht about using fisheyelenses in architecture photography - or is that too gimicky by far? Just thought they would add to the 3D-ness of the shots.

I don't like fish-eye lenses as they add distortion...the lens that made this image (17mm Tilt-shift) is $3,000 of glass that is specifically designed to AVOID distortion...so fish-eye lenses are like the enemy!
